- In this time of the year a small advertisement of the Fairmont hotel, which is near Chidori-ga-fuchi, appears in newspapers. It already appeared in newspapers of the 1st of April, saying "The cherry trees in Chidori-ga-fuchi are just coming into blossom."

A blue sheet at the bottom right in this photo is a room reserving (claiming) sheet for blossom viewing. Although I went there just a few minutes past 9 o'clock, there had already been many sheets.
